Languages for Peace : Students Share the Stories Behind Their Art

8th primary school of Thebes in Greece | Teachers: ΜΑΤΣΑΓΓΟΥΡΑ ΕΙΡΗΝΗ & ΤΣΙΟΥΤΣΟΥ ΖΩΗ

As part of the European Day of Languages celebrations, partner schools joined a collaborative forum in Twinspace titled “What inspired your drawing? How does your drawing reflect the theme of 'Languages for Peace'?”

Students from different countries shared the thoughts and emotions behind their posters, explaining how symbols, words, and colors were used to express unity, understanding, and hope. The forum became a space of meaningful exchange, where young learners celebrated cultural diversity and the power of language to connect people.

This creative dialogue helped strengthen intercultural communication and promoted peace through the voices and imagination of students across Europe.
