Students Celebrate World Water Day with a Collaborative Quiz on Water Awareness

8th primary school of Thebes in Greece | Teachers: ΜΑΤΣΑΓΓΟΥΡΑ ΕΙΡΗΝΗ & ΤΣΙΟΥΤΣΟΥ ΖΩΗ

On the occasion of World Water Day (March 22), the students of class E2 from our school took part in an educational and collaborative activity as part of the eTwinning project “SEL Wiz: Hocus Pocus – Heart and Mind in Focus”. The aim was to raise awareness about the value of water and the importance of its sustainable use.

Through discussion, research, and creativity, the students co-created a collaborative quiz using Wordwall, featuring questions on water use, the water cycle, and global water-related challenges.

This activity helped students:

Recognize the importance of clean water and equal access to it,

Understand the concept of sustainable water management,

Develop digital and collaborative skills.

The action supported the UN Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation for All by 2030. Once again, our young learners became ambassadors of environmental awareness, using their voices to advocate for a better and more sustainable future for all.
