Class AP3B | Ms Carla Nunes - Students' presentation

Ms. Carla Nunes students from Class AP3B at Afonso de Paiva School Cluster in Castelo Branco, Portugal, present themselves to eTwinning Project'24 "SEL Wiz: Hocus Pocus: Heart and mind in focus". The students drew their self-portrait on a simple sheet of paper and coloured it in with coloured pencils and felt-tip pens. Afterwards, they presented themselves in a simple way, recording their voices on an audio recording that they added to the drawings, in a ‘Show and Tell’ moment in a classroom curriculum context. We finished this work by creating a digital book using the ‘Book Creator’ online tool.

The 2nd Primary School part of the Blue Schools Network 2024-2025

   The creation of the  eTwinning 2024-25 program , titled “SEL Wiz: Hocus Pocus: Heart and mind in focus – Discovering Nature’s Magic Within” – Celebrating UNESCO Days for Sustainability and Peace through cultivating SEL in students, aiming for our school's inclusion in the  UNESCO AspNet Schools Network , allowed our students to collaborate with schools from other countries. This European collaboration helped them deepen their knowledge of the SDGs, exchange ideas, and share best practices in conjunction with technology. Simultaneously, it fostered the development of essential skills for 21st-century citizens, including the cultivation of  social and emotional intelligence ,  critical thinking ,  problem-solving , and  intercultural communication , thereby empowering them to actively contribute to the creation of a sustainable future.
