Participating in the eTwinning project was a truly rewarding yet challenging experience for our first-grade class at 2nd Primary school.of Ag.Nikolaos Primary School. This particular age group is just beginning its journey into literacy, learning their first letters and words , and taking their initial steps in reading and writing. As a result, engaging with the project's themes required thoughtful adaptation and simplification of complex ideas. The educator carefully introduced concepts related to the 17th Sustainable Development Goal (Partnerships for the Goals) and Mindfulness , using age-appropriate language and activities. These ideas were taught cross-curricularly , blending seamlessly with the subjects of Language, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies . This interdisciplinary approach helped children connect with the topics in a natural and engaging way, within the context of their everyday learning. Students are invited to share their thoughts, impressions, and opinions about the project, connect with peers from partner schools, and reflect on their learning journey. A safe and inspiring space for young voices to be heard, valued, and empowered!

In the 19th issue of the Online Magazine, "Green Planet" of the VAMOS CC, texts, poems, drawings, photographs, presentations and videos from 22 schools from all over Crete. The project creatively celebrated UNESCO Days for Sustainability and Peace by cultivating Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) through meaningful, student-led experiences.   8th primary school of Thebes in Greece | Teachers: ΜΑΤΣΑΓΓΟΥΡΑ ΕΙΡΗΝΗ & ΤΣΙΟΥΤΣΟΥ ΖΩΗ Art, Nature & AI: Students Bring Fairy Tale Characters to Life for UNESCO World Art Day As part of the eTwinning project “SEL Wiz: Hocus Pocus – Heart and Mind in Focus”, students from our school celebrated UNESCO World Art Day and Outdoor Classroom Day through a creative transnational art activity inspired by the beloved fairy tale “The Wizard of Oz.” At first, students went outdoors — in the schoolyard and nearby natural landscapes — and created drawings of characters from the story,  such as the Tin Man.In the second phase, our partner students from 2n ESO Projectes, Institut Castellet BCN, Catalonia, Spain, used AI technology (Sketch Metademolab app) to animate our drawing and bring the Tin Man to life in a short video.
